Job Title: Industrial Engineering Manager

Location: Senai, Johor, Malaysia

Company Overview:

The Industrial Engineering Manager oversees the optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization, waste reduction, and productivity improvement. The role involves leading teams, conducting detailed analyses, and collaborating across departments to achieve organizational goals

• Lead and manage the lean-waste identification program for the plant, focusing on recognizing waste and suggesting key improvements to area owners and management.
• Oversee and guide a team of Engineers and Technicians, providing training, support, and direction to enhance performance and achieve organizational objectives.
• Conduct time study analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for process improvements and production optimization.
• Design and implement production layout strategies to optimize resource use, minimize waste, and ensure efficient workflow.
• Work collaboratively across departments to drive performance improvements, resolve issues, and implement process changes.

Job Requirements:

• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• In-depth expertise in production layout strategies, capacity planning, and time-study analysis.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of implementing successful process improvement initiatives.
• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial management.
