Job Description

The role involves designing industrial products, creating detailed technical drawings using software like AutoCAD and CAMduct, optimizing material usage, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The candidate will collaborate with various departments, prepare reports, and handle ad hoc projects while leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering and industrial design.

• Liaise with production managers, engineers, and sales teams to gather product and structural requirements.
• Calculate dimensions and material specifications accurately.
• Create detailed industrial product designs using AutoCAD and CAMduct software.
• Retrieve and compile data from design software for project needs.
• Oversee material scheduling and planning to optimize usage.
• Identify operational issues and redesign products for improved functionality.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain proper records of finished and WIP goods.
• Prepare reports for management reviews.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions and procedures.
• Collaborate efficiently with other departments.
• Handle ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Job requirement:

• Degree, Diploma, or Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in drawing and design using AutoCAD, CAMduct, or Revit software.
• Strong understanding of industrial product structures and design drawings, such as ducting and dampers.
• Proficient in creating, reviewing, and modifying drawings to meet project requirements.
• Good knowledge of construction or industrial product layout drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpretation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English
