Job Description

Job Scope:

  • Manage multiple New Product Introductions (NPI) from prototype to customer approval
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Procurement) for new product launches
  • Assist to oversee technical management, including customer data package and BOM review
  • Provide labor cost and NRE cost quotes to customers
  • Support production activities during safe launch period for new products
  • Manage and facilitate internal and vendor technical discussions
  • Supervise teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Purchase Requests (PR) for NPI and engineering projects
  • Assist with scale-up activities, troubleshooting, and process optimization
  • Coordinate with vendors for new equipment, tooling, fixtures, and jigs
  • Validate and buy off new machines or fixtures
  • Collaborate on customer complaints and root cause analysis
  • Conduct training for production teams on new process implementations

Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in New Product Introduction (NPI) or similar product launch environments
  • Basic technical understanding of engineering data packages, Bill of Materials (BOM), and quality documentation standards (Work Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with vendors, internal teams, and customers
