Job Description

The Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 in a plastic injection molding environment. This role involves managing and maintaining the QMS and Environmental Management System (EMS), overseeing audits, ensuring documentation control, and driving continuous improvements.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF16949
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality management principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality practices into operational processes.
  • Prepare quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update the QMS accordingly.
  • Support product development teams in quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or QMS, particularly in plastic injection molding.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools like SPC, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
  • Ability to conduct audits and manage quality documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field preferred
