Job Description

A Malaysia-based Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, specializing in PCB production, design, industrialization, and repair services. Serving industries like connectivity, electrification, medical, industrial, located in Johor, it supports regional and international markets with advanced manufacturing solutions.

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met in terms of quality, efficiency, and timelines.
  

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production workflows and capacity utilization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, employing lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies
• Manage equipment maintenance and upgrades to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
• Supervise SMT production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and components for uninterrupted production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SMT lines, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to achieve high standards of product quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Facilitate root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of production processes to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training to enhance employee skills and capabilities
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to align production with market demands and customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding production schedules, capacity planning, and any potential issues.

Requirement:

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, specifically in PCBA or related industries.
• Basic knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
