Job Description

Job Title: R&D Engineer

Location: Perindustrian Tebrau, Johor Bahru


This leading global company specializes in advanced interconnect products and solutions, serving various industries, including automotive, telecommunications, and industrial sectors. They are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join their team to drive innovation and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for sales and production teams.
  • Lead new product development and improvement, including feasibility studies and project management.
  • Supervise R&D lab activities and manage team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, health, and safety standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
  • Source, test, and qualify materials to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor and drive progress in product development and quality enhancement.
  • Completed training in FMEA and key industry standards.



Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields).
  • 2-4 years of experience in product development or R&D, preferably in the electronics or interconnect industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of design software (e.g., CAD) and simulation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with product testing, prototyping, and validation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
