Job Title: Procurement Engineer

A key player in the manufacturing sector, this company specializes in producing precision parts for global industries. They are looking for a Procurement Engineer to manage and optimize the procurement of materials and components to support their production processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, components, and equipment required for production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering and production to align procurement activities with project requirements.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Manage supplier evaluation and qualification processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock for production needs while minimizing excess inventory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools, as well as ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
