Job Description

Job Title: Tooling Supervisor

Location: Desa Cemerlang, Johor Bahru


A well-known manufacturer specializing in high-precision products, this company emphasizes excellence in production and engineering. The company is looking for a Tooling Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and performance of tooling systems, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the tooling team, ensuring timely maintenance, repair, and setup of molds, dies, and tooling equipment.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for tooling issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Work closely with the production and engineering teams to develop and improve tooling processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of tooling equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Train and mentor junior tooling technicians, promoting best practices and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of tooling performance, maintenance schedules, and repair activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tooling, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of mold setup, tooling maintenance, and related equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong technical knowledge of tooling systems who is looking to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
