Job Description

Job Title: Molding Technician

Location: Desa Cemerlang, Johor Bahru


A global leader in manufacturing, this company produces cutting-edge products for various industries. With a focus on innovation and technology, they are seeking a Molding Technician to join their team and ensure the smooth operation of molding processes in their manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate plastic injection molding machines according to production specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on molding machines to prevent downtime.
  • Monitor the molding process to ensure product quality and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Work closely with the production team to maintain efficiency and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Conduct quality checks on molded parts and ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
  • Keep accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production outputs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with plastic injection molding machines.
  • Strong understanding of mold setup, processing parameters, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving machine performance.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in molding processes, looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
