Job Title: Tooling Engineer (For Malaysians Only)

Location: Desa Cemerlang, Johor Bahru


A renowned manufacturer specializing in precision products for global clients, this company is seeking a Tooling Engineer to manage and maintain tooling systems for their manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, and molds to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure the proper installation and functioning of tooling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize tool performance and extend tool life.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency in tooling processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of tooling designs, modifications, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in tooling design and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
