Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (For Malaysians Only)

Location: Perindustrian Tebrau, Johor Bahru


A leading manufacturer specializing in electronic interconnect products, this company is part of a renowned global group that provides innovative solutions to various industries. They are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to manage and optimize the maintenance of production machinery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure production machinery is always in good working condition and available for operations.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for machine repairs, spare parts, and new installations.
  • Provide technical support and training for maintenance personnel.
  • Monitor and compile data on machine performance, implementing improvements and modifications where necessary.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs within the assigned section.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with PLC systems, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
