TITLE: Electrical Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform preventative maintenance on production machines, Air Compressors, Chillers Systems. Locate the source of problems by observing production machines in operation, listening for problems and using testing methods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
• A.S. in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Must understand mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Experienced in general pipe fitting/fabrication, and welding.
• Good attendance and work habits.
• Good communication skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Job Tasks and Duties
• Safety
• Must comply with all verbal and written safety, and PPE rules.
• Must ensure compliance of all verbal and written safety and PPE rules of sub-ordinates.
• Quality
• Follow established quality guidelines to produce that meets criteria.
• Closely monitor all film for conformance to specifications.
• Ensure that quality issues are resolved and communicated quickly and effectively to minimize negative impact.
• Production
• Manage Maintenance Section functions.
• Evaluate/Approve engineering project design and budget.
• Execute special improvement projects.
• Oversee new equipment installation.
• Analyze downtime and reports and monthly performance reports.
• Evaluations for Maintenance Section.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

• Forklift
• Various hand tools including but not limited to needle nose pliers and allen wrenches
C. Physical activity required for this position
• Climbing, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized
• Balancing, maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
• Stooping, bending body downward and forward by bending spine and waist.
• Kneeling, bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees
• Crouching, bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
• Crawling, moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
• Reaching, extending hands and arms in any direction.
• Standing particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Walking, moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances.
• Pushing, using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
• Lifting, raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
• Talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
• Repetitive motion, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and or fingers.
D. Work Environment Conditions Subjected to in the Position
• Inside environment conditions protected from weather conditions, not temperature conditions.
• Outside environment conditions, no effect protection from weather.
• Inside and outside environments apply.
• Subject to extreme cold; temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
• Subject to extreme heat; temperatures above 90 degrees for more than one hour.
• Subject to noise, causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level.
• Subject to vibration, exposure, fluctuating movement of the body.
• Subject to hazards such as moving machinery, electrical currents, falling debris, exposure to chemicals, gases, high heat.
• Subject to oils and other cutting fluids via touch or air.
TRAINING:
• On-job training provided.
AUTHORITY/DECISION MAKING:
• Must be capable of leading/training maintenance technicians.
• Must be capable of making good decisions as relates to repairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
• Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Loud noise
