5th grade teacher:
Holy Family School in Parma is seeking an energetic, organized, faith filled educator to join our team as a 5th grade homeroom teacher beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. We are a Catholic, K-8 school that values respect, educational growth, diversity, and service as we spread Christ's love to all.
Position: The 5th grade homeroom teacher is responsible for delivering high quality instruction in Math and Social Studies for our 4th and 5th grade classes, as well as Religion, English, and Spelling for the 5th grade class.
Responsibilities: - Model Gospel values and lead students in their educational growth -plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with Ohio state standards -integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons -differentiate instructions to meet all student needs -use data to guide instruction and student progress -partner with faculty and parents to support the "whole child" -actively support and promote the school's mission
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Early or Middle Childhood Education or related field -Hold a valid Ohio teaching license (or be eligible for certification)
