
Substitute Teacher (flexible work hours)
Earn between $100.00 and $210.00 per day!

Substitutes may work as often or as little as they like (minimum days per year requirement must be maintained).
Important Note:
Substitute teachers may choose which schools they are interested in serving; however, assignment opportunities are not guaranteed. School administrators consider their individual staffing needs and may determine whether a substitute teacher is selected to work at their school. Substitute teachers serve on an as-needed basis and may be removed from the substitute list or released from assignments at any time, with or without cause, at the discretion of the District.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma required to substitute in elementary or middle school classrooms.
Associates / 60 college credits required to substitute in high school classrooms.
This flexible position does not offer the employee benefits package, nor Florida Retirement System.

Background Screening:
The total cost for fingerprinting is $73.06. Employment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. ALICE Training:
To remain eligible to substitute teach, all individuals responsible for student safety, including Substitute Teachers, are required to complete initial Active Assailant Protocol training upon hire and maintain annual ALICE Training recertification in accordance with Florida Statutes.
