Job Description

Project ISAAC 21st CCLC Afterschool Programs

10 weekly hours must be Monday through Thursday afterschool during program hours

Maximum of 100 programmatic days (250 hours) from the start of program which must start no later than October 15th

2 hours pre-planning, plus 5 hours of pre-program training

$35/hour for certified teachers, Hourly wage will be adjusted accordingly for those not holding a professional teaching certificate

Effective for the 2026-27 school year

POSITION: Project ISAAC Afterschool SUBSTITUTE

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Project ISAAC Director and/or Site Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience in the educational field

Experience working with youth preferred

Good verbal and written communication skills

Oversee daily operation of afterschool program at the school site.

Deliver activities described in the lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher.

Complete duties assigned by the Site Coordinator and/or designee.

Arrive and stay for scheduled time.

Maintain afterschool classroom management.

EMPLOYMENT TERM: Up to 8 hours per week, 2 hours each day Monday through Thursday during program operation. Operational times for Project ISAAC are Monday through Thursday between the hours of 3:00 and 5:30 dependent upon school. These are the possible days/times that a substitute needs to be present at the school for which they applied.
