As a 4PL Freight Planner, you will take full responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing and monitoring the entire transportation process on behalf of the customer's supply chain department. You will coordinate shipment activities in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and all applicable legal and regulatory standards. The role also involves executing operational processes, maintaining accurate documentation, managing non-conformities, and ensuring correct job accounting while adhering to Quality and GDP requirements. In addition, you will actively contribute to the achievement of company goals and targets, while consistently following quality management system guidelines and supporting continuous operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of daily operational activities
• Manage and monitor end-to-end shipment execution across the customer’s supply chain, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and GDP/GxP standards
• Review shipment orders, prepare transportation arrangements, and coordinate with carriers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant execution
• Handle shipment documentation and ensure compliance with international transport regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards, including Dangerous Goods shipments where applicable
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues, non-conformities, complaints, and claims to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction
• Manage shipment invoicing, validate supplier charges, support financial accuracy, and ensure timely file closure and shipment accounting
• Prepare and maintain customer reports, operational analyses, KPIs, and other required documentation in line with SOPs and internal guidelines
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, customer-specific projects, and process enhancements to drive operational excellence and service quality
• Promote compliance with quality management systems, GDP regulations, and internal standards while contributing to company objectives and performance targets

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years’ experience in international forwarding
• Fluent oral and written English is a must
• Proven track record in Customer Service-related activities
• Good experience in the transportation and/or supply chain solutions ideally in the pharmaceutical sector
• Demonstrated work experience in process implementation, customer service and logistics preferably in/for the Life science sector.
• Expertise in GDP related quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment
