The 4-H Livestock Program Assistant helps to coordinate and participate in livestock validations, Livestock tagging, livestock shows, judging contests, public speaking, and educational presentations. Manage deadlines and entry dates for livestock shows around Texas. Prepare livestock validation forms accurately and on time. Plans, implements, and evaluates a progressive series of educational programs and experiences that work toward multiple life skill outcomes such as leadership, citizenship, communications, personal life management and knowledge. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
