Job Description

A Day In The Life

  • Confirm work-order is correct
  • Confirm all required materials are hands-on
  • Confirm correct set-up of all equipment is current
  • Calibration of all equipment and test equipment is current
  • Confirm finished product meets all quality requirments
  • Complete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing parts
  • Maintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standards
  • Monday -Friday 11pm-7:00am
  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machine in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates.
  • Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using the Hubbell Utility Solutions Quality Operating Principles.

  • Good communication, reading and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with others
  • Willingness to support other operations or departments as needed
  • Must be comfortable wearing standard PPE

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Gripping repeatedly with good physical dexterity
  • Constant walking and standing for a 8 to 10 hour shifts
  • Reaching, pulling, bending, stooping and twisting
