General Labor – Paint Line Support

Urbana, OH | Direct Hire | $22.48/hour

2nd and 3rd Shifts Available!

A well-established global manufacturing company in Urbana, OH is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join its production team in Paint Line Support positions.

This is a direct hire opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Schedule & Compensation

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Base Pay: $21.48/hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00/hour
• Total Hourly Pay: $22.48
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal components onto and off paint line conveyors.
• Hang, rack, and remove parts according to production requirements.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness and proper preparation before painting.
• Assist with masking and unmasking components.
• Move finished parts using carts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist paint line operators to keep production running efficiently.
• Complete basic labeling and production documentation.
• Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds overhead.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn RF scanning systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools or material handling equipment is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Work Environment

This is an active manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, dust, and paint fumes. Required PPE includes safety-toed footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other protective equipment as needed.
