We're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Remediation Engineer to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in delivering hands-on infrastructure and security improvements across our business.
This is a practical, delivery-focused engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and turning security findings into real-world remediation. You'll work across infrastructure, applications, networks, endpoints and supplier-managed services, helping to improve security, resilience and operational performance across our estate

Your Responsibilities
As part of our IT Service Delivery function, you'll take ownership of technical remediation activities, working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to identify risks, implement fixes and ensure improvements are effectively embedded
Delivering infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refresh projects
Reviewing existing environments and identifying opportunities for improvement
Implementing and optimising Microsoft cloud and on-premise solutions
Strengthening security controls across server, cloud and identity platforms
Supporting vulnerability management and remediation activities
Assisting with identity and access management controls
Working alongside project teams to deliver technology projects successfully
Producing technical documentation, implementation plans and operational procedures
Managing technical risks and collaborating with external technology partners where required.
What You’ll Bring

You'll have:
Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
Endpoint management and vulnerability remediation
Microsoft Defender and security tooling
Server, application and endpoint patching
Cisco switching, VLANs and network security technologies
Infrastructure monitoring and operational support
ITSM, CMDB and service mapping platforms
Change control, risk assessment and technical documentation.
A strong understanding of infrastructure security and vulnerability remediation
The ability to prioritise threats based on risk and business impact
Knowledge of CIS Controls, NIST principles and security best practice
Experience working with suppliers to manage and resolve technical risks
Confidence producing evidence for governance, audit and risk reviews.
