RFFE Lab Technician would be responsible for assembling test boards, and hand mounting and soldering SMD components, RF filters and IC’s on RF modules. You could be also acting as operator for automated RF test systems. An ideal RFFE Lab Technician should also be a highly motivated, focused and fast learner, team player with good communication skills.

The responsibilities of this role type include:

• Test board and RFFE module assembly (manual soldering)

• Working with test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, signal generators, power meters, network analyzer, etc.)

• Collect and evaluate data to verify performance

• Calibration of test equipment, fex. network analyzer

• Work with RFFE Module and IC design team to maintain, optimize, and release chip settings for overall optimized product performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Student studying a degree for M.Sc. or B.Sc. in field of Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication, preferably 3rd or 4th year

• Alternatively, Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics technician

• Assembly of RF test boards, incl. soldering on board and component level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assembly of RF test boards, incl. soldering on board and module level (IC’s and micro SMDs down to 01005 and 008004 size)

• Knowledge of different soldering techniques, using solder paste

• Experience with RF, PCB design and RF tuning

• Knowledge of RF measurements such as S-parameters, P1dB, IP3, ACPR, NF

• Experience with lab instruments/tools application (Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, DMM, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc.)

• Experience with programming languages, including Matlab, C#/C++, LabView etc.

Educational Requirements:

• A Student studying a degree for M.Sc. or B.Sc. in field of Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication, preferably 3rd or 4th year

• Alternatively, Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics technician
