About the role

The Senior 3D Production Leader is a senior, future‑oriented leadership role within IMC Production.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate complex 3D model production initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring reliable delivery while actively developing more scalable, efficient, and future‑ready ways of working.

You will work closely with 3D Production Leaders and cross‑functional partners to:

  • Secure delivery excellence (quality, time, cost)
  • Align priorities and dependencies across production
  • Continuously develop and improve how 3D model production works

This is not only a delivery role — it is a role that combines operational excellence with production evolution, helping shape the future of 3D model production at IKEA.

As a Senior 3D Production Leader you will:

  • Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end 3D model production across complex assignments, ensuring delivery according to IKEA standards
  • Plan, structure, and steer production across multiple teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Secure capacity, resources, and cost efficiency throughout the production lifecycle
  • Manage risks and dependencies to ensure predictable delivery outcomes
  • Set and manage budget and cost follow-up
  • Drive continuous improvement of workflows, pipelines, and ways of working
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration across the value chain
  • Mentor and support 3D Production Leaders contributing to a strong and consistent leadership approach
  • Contribute to the evolution of AI‑enabled and scalable production models

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with 3D, CGI, real‑time, or digital asset production at scale
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale, complex production projects
  • Ownership of high‑volume delivery with accountability for quality, time, and cost
  • Strong project and delivery leadership in production environments
  • Ability to coordinate and steer work across teams, partners, and dependencies
  • Senior leadership capability
  • Experience guiding and influencing experienced professionals and leaders, building trust and accountability
  • Ability to develop and improve production systems and workflows
  • Track record of making production more scalable, efficient, and predictable
  • Experience leading change in evolving environments
  • Ability to drive delivery while adapting to new tools, technologies, or ways of working
  • Curiosity and openness towards AI‑enabled production
  • Motivation to explore how automation and AI can improve production over time
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to align multiple stakeholders and translate complexity into clear direction

It’s a plus if you also have:

  • Background in retail, consumer goods, or digital product communication
  • Experience with AI‑assisted production, automation, or data‑driven workflows
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning production metrics
  • Experience in global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience working with or managing external partners or suppliers
  • Ability to act as a thought partner in cross‑organizational discussions
