Job Shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm



Kett Engineering is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3D Printer candidate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting skills, self-motivated and be a team player.

Full Time position with full benefits offered.

Pay Rate: $23 - $28 an hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform printer set up for incoming work requests (SLA, GDP, and FDM)
  • Post process 3D printed parts
  • Prepare files for printing utilizing 3D printing slicing software (Bambu Studio, PreForm, BigRep Blade, etc.)
  • Maintain printers and other equipment
  • Inventory and order needed materials
  • Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Keep area clean using 5S principles
  • Other tasks as assigned

Desired Skills and

Experience:

  • Must be self-motivated, multi-task, and able to self-teach
  • Organization skills
  • Basic knowledge 3D CAD software (i.e., NX, Solid works, Catia etc.)
  • 3D printing experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understand basic GD&T knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (XLS, PPT, and Word) and SharePoint
  • Comfortable working cross functionally with multiple people

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug and background screens
  • Must have at least a high school diploma (or GED)
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States
  • Computer literate
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote overall team effort.
  • Focus on meeting and exceeding Kett and customer expectations.
  • Responsibilities involve a definite degree of skill, accuracy and cooperation.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of Kett and customer policies and procedures and Kett’s Vision and Values.
  • Ability to complete concise and accurate documentation.
