We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 3D Designer – Watch Exterior Components to join our Engineering team in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and 3D modeling of watch exterior components (habillage), including cases, crystals, crowns, pushers, and related parts. You will ensure technical feasibility, aesthetic excellence, and compliance with quality and industrial standards across the full product development lifecycle.
This is a hybrid position based in our Biel/Bienne office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the Engineering Director.
What you will do in this role:
Habillage Design & Development
• Design and model watch exterior components (habillage) in 3D using SolidWorks and GibbsCAM
• Define technical solutions while respecting aesthetic, functional, and industrial constraints
• Ensure alignment between design intent, technical feasibility, and brand standards
Technical Documentation & Change Management
• Create, update, and maintain technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Manage technical changes and maintain all related documentation
• Ensure all documentation is up to date and aligned with development stages
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with design, product, and technical teams throughout the development process
• Participate in design reviews and contribute with technical expertise
• Propose and implement continuous technical improvements
Prototyping & Validation
• Follow up on prototype development and ensure proper execution
• Implement necessary adjustments based on testing and feedback
• Ensure compliance with watchmaking standards and customer requirements
Who You Are
• You hold a technical degree in engineering, micromechanics, mechanical design, or a related field (HES or equivalent)
• You bring at least 7 years of experience in watch case components (habillage) development
• You have strong proficiency in 3D design tools (CAD)
• You have good knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection, and surface treatments
• You demonstrate strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and precision
• You have an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• You are a team player with effective communication skills
• You are fluent in English

Nous recherchons un·e Constructeur·trice 3D – Habillage montre pour rejoindre notre équipe Engineering à Biel/Bienne. Dans ce rôle, vous prenez en charge la conception et la modélisation 3D des composants d’habillage (boîtiers, glaces, couronnes, poussoirs, etc.) et contribuez activement à leur développement, de l’idée jusqu’à l’industrialisation.
Vous veillez à la faisabilité technique, à la qualité d’exécution ainsi qu’au respect de l’esthétique propre à nos produits, dans un environnement exigeant, au cœur de l’horlogerie.
Ce poste est basé en mode hybride dans nos bureaux de Biel/Bienne. Une présence sur site est requise du lundi au jeudi, avec la possibilité de télétravail le vendredi. Vous reportez directement au Directeur Engineering.
Vos missions :
Conception & développement habillage
• Concevoir et modéliser en 3D les composants d’habillage à l’aide de SolidWorks et GibbsCAM
• Définir des solutions techniques en tenant compte des contraintes esthétiques, fonctionnelles et industrielles
• Garantir la cohérence entre design, faisabilité technique et exigences qualité
Plans techniques & gestion des modifications
• Réaliser les mises en plans et en assurer la mise à jour tout au long du développement
• Gérer les modifications techniques et la documentation associée
• Veiller à la qualité et à la fiabilité des données techniques
Collaboration & amélioration continue
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes design, produit et technique
• Participer aux revues de conception
• Proposer des améliorations techniques et contribuer à l’optimisation des processus
Prototypage & industrialisation
• Suivre le développement des prototypes et valider leur conformité
• Apporter les ajustements nécessaires en phase de mise au point
• Assurer le respect des standards horlogers et des exigences clients
Votre profil
• Formation technique (ingénieur HES ou équivalent) en micromécanique, construction ou domaine similaire
• Expérience confirmée (min. 7 ans) en habillage horloger
• Très bonne maîtrise des outils de conception 3D (CAO)
• Bonne connaissance des procédés de fabrication (usinage, injection, traitements de surface, etc.)
• Sens du détail, rigueur et précision
• Esprit analytique et capacité à résoudre des problématiques techniques
• Esprit d’équipe et aisance dans la communication
• Bon niveau d’anglais
