Your Opportunity: As we continue to grow, our team needs to expand with us. Jon Michael Design, a subsidiary of Taylor, is searching for a passionate and talented Designer to join our studio in NYC!

This is a hands-on role for a designer who loves being deep in the work — concepting, designing, refining, and delivering thoughtful creative across 360° brand experiences You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Art Director and Creative Director to bring ideas to life, while owning your individual projects and creative output.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Art Director to develop and execute creative across branding, packaging, and broader brand touchpoints
  • Design from concept through completion, with responsibility for the quality, craft, and consistency of your work
  • Contribute to 360 brand systems, including packaging, visual identity elements, presentations, and brand extensions
  • Translate creative direction into strong, considered design solutions with attention to detail and execution
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, managing your time, priorities, and deliverables effectively
  • Participate in concept development, ideation sessions, and innovation initiatives
  • Prepare clear, visually compelling design presentations and support pitch and credentials materials as needed
  • Maintain and help evolve brand and packaging standards as clients expand into new markets, formats, and regulatory environments
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure work is delivered on time and within scope
  • Contribute ideas, references, and inspiration to support studio culture, internal sharing, and creative exploration

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • BFA or BS in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Strong branding, typography, and visual design skills
  • Experience working on packaging within a broader brand ecosystem
  • Ability to render concepts in 2D for presentations
  • Working knowledge of packaging production, printing, materials, and structure
  • Retouching capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 3D rendering experience is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience as a Designer or Senior Designer on high-quality brand projects
  • Demonstrated ability to push ideas beyond the brief through thoughtful execution and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience preparing mockups and presentation-ready assets for client review


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65k – 75k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
