GENERAL SUMMARY:
The 365 operations manager oversees the creation and implementation of Microsoft Office 365 solutions by providing leadership, mentoring, and training to team members. This individual acts as a liaison between the 365 operations team and its customers.
This individual is also responsible for staying in tune with senior leadership and company standards to make sure requirements and goals are included in the 365 operations team’s vision.

COMPENSATION: Annually $65,000 - $75,000

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Provide oversight of the 365 operations team by assigning and monitoring the work loads of each team member.
  2. Set standards and minimums for solutions to ensure only robust and dependable products are released to customers.
  3. Train and mentor team members in the positions they hold as well as provide long term goas to develop the team.
  4. Stay in tune with senior leadership’s goals and industry standards and then incorporate those into team’s mission.
  5. Act as team project manager to ensure work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while making sure the team is not over extended.
  6. Stay up to date on changing Microsoft best practices to ensure competent solutions and security standards are met.
  7. Evaluate and review team members work to find ways to improve and develop team members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Desktop Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Applications (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, etc.).
  • Knowledge of designer/developer codes (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of how the various Microsoft applications work together as well as how they can be used with non-Microsoft technologies.
  • Knowledge of team management methodologies such as ITIL and Agile that can be applied to increase team effectiveness.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience managing Information Technology teams and providing support.
  • Experience training individuals on Microsoft Office 365 technologies and theology.
  • Experience interacting with senior leadership and understanding their standards and goals.
  • Experience budgeting and planning for company growth and development.
  • Experience acting as a project manager and implementing project management ideologies.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry or otherwise move objects. Job involves sitting most of the time and walking and standing some of the time.
