The impact you will make

As an Application QA Engineer, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will follow the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of COBOL and Java based technologies. Success in this role requires comfort working in a fast-paced, forward-looking environment that embraces agile (SCRUM) practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

What you will do

• Define and build end to end test solutions for enterprise level applications
• Define and generate test data needed to test workflows across multiple products
• Collaborate with developers and QAs to define automation approaches for front end and back end applications.
• Use critical thinking skills and problem solving to solve technical challenges
• Deliver new automated tests or changes to existing tests to bring value to the scrum teams
• Integrate test processes into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Work with the teams to understand how changes in the software product affect our test automation solutions
• Inspecting legacy processes and validating the target output in the cloud environment.
• Remain educated/ informed on the full suite of testing tools, processes and artifacts that are available and consults with technical owner on how to implement them

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or experience through higher education
• 3+ years of technical QA experience
• Experience with object oriented coding practices, SQL and cloud environment
• Hands on experience automating test cases with Selenium
• Experience using version control tools – preferably Git
• Experience testing web services
• Proven ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes
• Problem solving skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a relentless improvement mindset

What we would like to see

• Experience in healthcare and/or knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
• COBOL to Java Migration
• Experience with the following:
• Deploy Applications/Improve efficiency and reliability
• TDD, JIRA, Confluence
• Linux/AS400/AIX/zOS
