Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a 310T Licensed Mechanic located primarily at our plant in Ayr Ontario. Consideration will also be given to 3rd or 4th year apprentices.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks, trailers, and mobile equipment to maintain safe and reliable operation.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and support production needs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.
  • Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately and in a timely manner.

What Are We Looking For

  • Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair heavy truck and mobile equipment systems.
  • Strong safety mindset with the ability to follow established procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills to support daily operations.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment background check.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

  • $39.20 per hour.
