We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Product Functional Test Mechanical Tech – Level III - OFFC to join our team specializing in Engineering at our facility in Stoughton, WI, US.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure successful and efficient testing operations by building, repairing, preparing, and installing test articles and auxiliary equipment with precision.
Deliver dependable and repeatable test outcomes by executing tests in strict accordance with established procedures, methodologies, and safety standards.
Provide accurate, high-quality data that supports engineering decisions, product validation, and overall program success.
Strengthen test reliability by applying deep knowledge of test equipment functionality and understanding how equipment performance affects result accuracy.
Configure, operate, and monitor data acquisition systems to capture meaningful data and analyze results for consistency and appropriateness.
Use your understanding of product functionality to evaluate test performance and identify whether outcomes accurately reflect real-world product behavior.
Improve laboratory readiness and operational efficiency through troubleshooting, test stand setup, equipment maintenance, and continuous upkeep of lab systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting engineering teams with supplier evaluations, instrumentation recommendations, equipment upgrades, and facility enhancements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
Regionally applicable certification or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Additional Info:
The ideal candidate for the role will be well versed in troubleshooting automotive systems such as wiring issues, J1939 CAN communication networks, and diesel engine performance issues
Must be able to operate PIV, Hoist, and Crane
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines and Aftertreatment Components preferred
Intermediate knowledge of computers and computer programs preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Ability to multitask many priorities or assignments at the same time
