Western Smokehouse Partners is looking for a Processing Supervisor.

This position will be reporting to the Plant Superintendent; the Processing Supervisor oversees the entire raw production process and ensures all product exceeds customer expectations. The Processing Supervisor enforces and maintains raw material standards and company policies while holding processing staff to these standards to ensure customer satisfaction.

Functions:

• Supervise raw production team members and ensure flow and accuracy of production operations
• Conducts inspections on machines of machines, rooms and other equipment in the production area
• Rotate spice, meat, and other product racks to ensure first in first out
• Verify all ingredients and specifications are correct to meet customer standards
• Changing out and setting up machines to correct specifications per customer request
• Keeping floor clear of debris and keeping contaminated product away from non-contaminated product
• Verify labels and racks to ensure accuracy of products
• Follows SOPs, GMP, and FDA regulations
• Document information accurately and provide excellent paperwork for records
• Report and food safety, equipment malfunctions, etc. to the superintendent
• Assumes responsibilities of processing tech as needed

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• General knowledge of computers and record keeping
• Lift objects over 50+ pounds on a daily basis
• Food processing experience preferred
• Supervisory experience required
