Job Description

2nd Shift 4pm-12am/Midnight w/Mandatory Overtime

Training on 1st shift: 8am-4pm

Accurately record information about incoming potatoes loads while testing and unloading product in a timely manner so not to effect the production schedules.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct test on potatoes for solids, defect and record accurately on proper documents
  • Unload potatoes to proper storage bins in a timely manner
  • Accurately report testing results to supervisor
  • Record the weight of potatoes received and report to supervisor
  • Perform weekly/weekend cleaning on equipment and surrounding areas
  • Work with cleaning chemicals
  • Utilize all required PPE at all times
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Follow GHIP (Good Housekeeping practices) GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Marginal Functions:

  • Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision
  • Attend required training sessions
