Position Summary:
The Line Leader/Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of machines in the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the machine to meet production expectations.
- Assist with the direction of employees working on the line.
- Properly set up the machine to operate safely, while meeting production expectations.
- Properly clean the machine at the end of the shift.
- Assist with paperwork as needed.
- Perform safety inspections (guards, e-stop, etc.) daily.
- Properly correct errors with the equipment (film jams, error codes, etc.) following all the required safety procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education &

Experience:
- Ability to legally work in the United States is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- 2+ years related work experience is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
- Able to push and pull items in excess of 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Able to grip and grasp small objects repeatedly.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Able to work in a cold, damp environment.
- Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less.
- Able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.
- Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week.
Pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
