Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a 2nd Shift Electrical-Mechanical Assembly Lab Manager to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. Candidate will be responsible for leadership of a technician team that builds electro/mechanical assemblies. The type of work includes electronic assemblies that require AS9100 processing including calibrated tools, repeatable processes, testing and inspection. This position will lead the team of IPC-620 certified technicians that work on a variety of products including military and space customers

Primary Responsibilities

  • This position will have day to day responsibilities for Safety, Quality Delivery, Cost and Moral goals of 2nd shift Electrical-Mechanical Assembly team.
  • Leading efforts for 5S in Electronic Assembly labs.
  • Manage production effort of multiple electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Communicate with customers (internal or external) to provide updates on both schedule and cost
  • Will be responsible for providing employee feedback and any disciplinary matters
  • Reviewing and approving time sheets and verification for accuracy
  • Enforcing / following company policies as applicable
  • Engaging with peers to share best practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED with 10 years of experience will be considered.
  • Applicants must have strong experience working with teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple objectives over similar time periods
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current or prior certification in IPC/WHM-A-620
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience working 2nd shift
  • MES (Solumina or Aegis) Build Tracking experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
