Position: 2nd Officer - DPO - HL/PL DP3

Star Services LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Officer - DPO with HL/PL DP3 experience to join our offshore team. As a full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most advanced and cutting-edge vessels in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the 2nd in command of the vessel, reporting directly to the Master
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel at all times
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all vessel systems and equipment, including DP systems
- Act as the designated Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) for the vessel, ensuring safe and accurate positioning at all times
- Monitor and maintain the vessel's stability and trim, taking corrective action as needed
- Oversee and assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo and equipment
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all crew members are properly trained and familiar with emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all operations and activities on board the vessel
- Collaborate with other crew members and shore-based personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate Unlimited license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a 2nd Officer on DP vessels, preferably with HL/PL DP3 experience
- Valid DP Operator certificate
- Extensive knowledge of vessel systems and equipment, including DP systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Valid offshore medical and survival training certifications
