We are seeking an experienced and motivated administration team member to join our Booking Centre leadership team as a 2IC Booking Centre Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration professional who is ready to broaden their leadership experience and play a key role in supporting the success of the Booking Centre team.

The 2IC Booking Centre Manager will work alongside the Booking Centre Manager to support daily operations, strengthen team capability, maintain service standards and drive continuous improvement. This role will provide hands-on leadership support through coaching, quality monitoring, team engagement and operational coordination, while continuing to utilise strong booking and patient service expertise.

The successful applicant will continue to support booking operations while taking on additional leadership responsibilities that contribute to team performance, staff development and the delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

What you will be responsible for

As the 2IC Booking Centre Manager, you will:

  • Partner with the Booking Centre Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the Booking Centre and achievement of service standards.
  • Provide leadership support, coaching and guidance to Booking Agents to build capability, confidence and consistency.
  • Conduct call quality reviews and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in customer service, booking accuracy and compliance.
  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing development of new and existing team members.
  • Participate in staff 1:1’s and team engagement activities to identify challenges, recognise achievements and support a positive team culture.
  • Assist with workflow coordination, operational problem-solving and escalation management.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements, system changes and operational updates.
  • Act in the Booking Centre Manager role during periods of planned or unplanned absence.
