We’re looking for a strong 2D Prop Concept Artist to help shape the visual world of Poker. You’ll design distinctive, premium-looking in-game objects—from chests and loot boxes to coins, gifts, and customization items.

We’re looking for someone who combines confident concept development with polished, production-aware artwork. The visual direction is semi-realistic and refined, with a focus on strong forms, believable materials, and a cohesive design language rather than a casual or cartoon look.

You’ll also help integrate AI tools and pipelines into the art process. The goal is to streamline repetitive tasks and make the best use of hands-on artistic work—freeing up more time for creative decisions, detailed craft, and final polish without compromising quality or artistic control.

What you’ll do

• Create concepts and polished 2D artwork for in-game props, including chests, loot boxes, coins, gifts, collectibles, and customization items.
• Explore shapes, construction, materials, color, and lighting to create memorable and functional designs.
• Develop several visual directions, incorporate feedback, and bring selected concepts to a high-quality final.
• Make sure objects read clearly at different in-game sizes and work within the game’s camera, UI, and production requirements.
• Prepare clear artwork and visual references for production, including construction details, material callouts, and additional views when needed.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, game designers, and 3D artists to take concepts from initial idea through implementation.
• Identify and integrate suitable AI tools and pipelines to support ideation and iteration, reduce repetitive work, and focus craft effort where it has the greatest artistic impact.

What we’re looking for

• A strong portfolio showcasing polished prop concepts and high-quality 2D artwork.
• Excellent skills in form, perspective, composition, lighting, color, materials, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating semi-realistic artwork with a refined, premium finish.
• A good understanding of object design: how forms are constructed, how materials behave, and how to make an object feel both distinctive and believable.
• Ability to develop ideas from rough sketches through clear, production-ready concepts.
• Confidence working with feedback, revising concepts, and managing several tasks or visual directions.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or comparable digital painting software.
• Experience using AI tools in creative workflows, or the ability and interest to develop practical AI-assisted processes while maintaining artistic control and quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D tools such as Blender, ZBrush, or similar for block-outs, form exploration, or presentation renders.
• Understanding of how 2D concepts translate into 3D assets and in-game use.
• Experience designing metallic, plastic, glass, and illuminated elements.
