ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an Electronic Validation Engineer who will ensure that alternative electronic components used to replace End‑of‑Life (EoL) parts continue to meet all functional, safety, reliability, and compliance requirements within automotive ECUs. They conduct risk‑based delta validation, design and execute test plans, analyze results, document technical reports, and work with cross‑functional teams using tools such as JIRA, PLM systems, CANoe/CANalyzer, Siemens Capital, Altium, and Ansys

Key Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based delta validation for redesigned or replacement electronic components.
• Ensure all component changes meet functionality, safety, reliability and compliance standards ( ISO 26262, A-SPICE, AEC-Q100/Q200).
• Create and execute validation plans, test methods and traceability per requirements.
• Analyze test results, KPIs and prepare technical reports for internal and customer teams.
• Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Suppliers.
• Use key engineering tools such as JIRA, Arena PLM, 3DX, CANoe/CANalyzer, Siemens Capital, Altium, Ansys

Requirements

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in automotive electronic validation.
• Experience with:

1. Electronic validation & test execution
2. Risk & impact analysis
3. Test plan creation and requirements traceability
4. Data analysis & technical reporting

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Design tools such as 3DX.
• Valid visa for international travel (e.g., U.S.).
• Experience on technical reports for global clients.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Leadership in technical decision-making.
• Ability to collaborate across suppliers, validation, manufacturing and purchasing.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
