Job Description


The People & Culture (HR) function is
strengthening its digital capabilities to improve operational efficiency,
support data-driven decision-making, and enhance the employee experience. As
part of this effort, CIP is seeking for one (1)

HR AI & Digital
Transformation Intern

to support the use of artificial intelligence,
automation, analytics, and low-code/no-code tools to modernize HR processes and
reporting.


About
the role:

The intern will help prototype and implement practical automation
solutions (via code or no-code approaches), strengthen HR reporting frameworks,
and contribute to a culture of evidence-based HR management. This internship
will be based in Lima, Peru and will work under the supervision of the Head of
P&C in collaboration with relevant corporate functions (e.g., IT, Finance,
Operations) and under the technical co-supervision of the Head of Digital &
Data.


Training activities:


AI &
Process Automation


·

Help identify HR workflows suitable for automation (e.g., recruitment
tracking, performance documentation support, onboarding workflows, policy
queries).


·

Assist in testing and prototyping AI-enabled solutions to improve
efficiency and reduce manual processes.


·

Build tools using modern programming languages (e.g., Python and
JavaScript) and/or no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Google
Opal, Zapier, Airtable, Notion, Retool, Glide, etc.).


·

Support the development of internal AI agents or digital assistants for
HR use cases (e.g., recruitment screening support, performance review guidance,
policy navigation, FAQ automation).


·

Document processes, data flows, and technical architecture for
sustainability and knowledge transfer.


·

Follow data protection and confidentiality guidelines when handling HR
information.


·

Comply with data protection, confidentiality, and ethical AI standards
as defined in CIP policies.


HR Data
Analytics & Dashboard Development


·

Assist in preparing HR reports and dashboards, including but not limited
to:


o

Workforce composition and demographics


o

Recruitment metrics (time-to-fill,
pipeline conversion)


o

Turnover and retention analysis


o

Performance distribution data


o

Engagement and wellbeing indicators


o

Diversity and inclusion metrics


·

Collect, clean, and organize HR data from different sources.


·

Support automation of recurring reporting processes to reduce manual
efforts.


·

Help improve data visualization (charts, tables, dashboards) for
internal presentations.


·

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance alignment.


HR analytics
support


·

Partner with HR Business Partners to understand business needs and
analytics requirements.


·

Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making.


·

Support scenario modeling and workforce planning analytics where
required.


Innovation
& continuous improvement


·

Research emerging HR tech and AI trends and propose practical
applications.


·

Recommend tools or digital solutions that enhance employee experience
and HR productivity.


·

Contribute to building internal HR tech capability documentation and
user guides.


Requirements


What are we looking for?


·

Student in at least the 4th year (8th Cycle) or a recent graduate in
Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, HR
Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.


·

Ranked in the upper third of their faculty (mandatory
requirement).


Technical skills:


·

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel advanced,
Power BI, Tableau, or similar).


·

Knowledge in programming skills in either of Python
and Javascript. Strong no-code platform experience is an added advantage


·

Knowledge of AI development tools and frameworks
(e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or similar). Courses, projects or
certifications on these technologies are desirable.


·

Understanding of database structures and data
visualization principles. Knowledge of Graph Databases (e.g Neo4J) and Vector
databases (e.g. Pinecone or Chroma) is an added advantage.


·

Desirable:


o

Knowledge of HR processes or HR systems (e.g.,
HRIS, ATS, LMS).


o

Experience building dashboards or automation
tools.


o

Understanding of data privacy and governance
principles.


o

Understanding of the functions of an international
(global) organization.
