
The Office for Student Empowerment Student Assistant will assist OSE staff in carrying out specific agendas for the semester. The OSE Student Assistant may be assigned to one or more office tasks. These tasks may include programming support, creating marketing materials, or other activities associated with the Office for Student Empowerment.
of Duties
Programming
● Assist the Office for Student Empowerment with programming events: set up or clean up, preparation, and student outreach
● Participate in the development of new programming ideas for first-generation and low-income student populations at Saint Mary’s College with the Office for Student Empowerment staff
Social Media/Marketing
● Develop marketing materials for all Office for Student Empowerment programs
● Coordinate with campus partners on marketing efforts
● Generate social media posts for matters related to first-generation and low-income student populations
Advising
● Serve as a primary resource in a student advisory capacity to assist undergraduate first-generation and low-income students during office hours
Miscellaneous
● Occasionally provide administrative support to the Division for Belonging staff
● Attend monthly staff meetings
● Attend regular meetings with the supervisor
● Participate in learning opportunities that build professional and leadership skills
● Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule
