
The Annual Giving Intern position is open ONLY to applicants who have demonstrated a track record of leadership and dependability through Annual Giving and/or Class Gift Campaign activities. As the Annual Giving Intern, you will be responsible for helping directly solicit– via phone and video– alumnae, parents, and friends of the College to increase annual support to the Saint Mary’s Fund. You will be expected to answer questions from prospective donors, as well as completing daily reports for your supervisor. This is a critically important revenue generating position for the College. The Annual Giving Intern is expected to help contribute to social media initiatives, as necessary. Support with Class Gift Campaign events and planning, as well as with solicitation on Donor Challenge is required for this position. The intern will provide routine clerical support for the Office of Annual Giving, including through the writing of various stewardship initiatives.
Qualifications:
Students who display a demonstrated a track record of leadership and dependability through Annual Giving and/or Class Gift
Campaign activities. This position requires the ability to preform well under pressure, critical thinking, phone etiquette, as well as
the ability to deescalate potentially angry or upset prospects. This position requires the ability to understand annual giving
technologies-- including the possibility of video creation. Being skilled in social media practices is helpful.
Preferred Schedule:
Standard Office Hours Range (between 8-5 Mon-Fri)
