Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the ART Coordinator, performs a variety of clerical duties requiring exercise of good judgment and knowledge. Daily ongoing consumer contact; receives, screens and routes telephone calls; schedules and maintains the appointment book for the physicians within the Medication Clinic, assists walk-in consumers and other visitors in ascertaining needs, explains departmental policies, procedures, and program operating guidelines, initiating necessary paperwork, and referring to appropriate staff. Additional duties include: typing, scheduling, and ongoing maintenance of consumer records and data entry.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Two years secretarial experience or equivalent required. Must pass a Microsoft and Excel exam with a proficient score. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: $19.85 - $22.23 hourly. 40 hours per week, M-F 8am-4pm.
Location: Adult Mental Health Services/ART, Lansing, Michigan.
