
Responsibilities: Under the administrative supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor, CSDD/Clinical Services Unit and the clinical supervision of the CSDD Senior Registered Dietitian, works with persons with developmental disabilities and mental illness that live in group homes, family homes, or independently. Assesses and implements nutrition care plans based on medical needs to maintain adequate health and nutrition. Provides consultation and in-services to staff as needed. Provide 1:1 nutrition counseling and support to individuals. Evaluates the adequacy of food service and sanitation techniques within the group homes. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required. Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association as a Registered Dietitian required. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally required. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use required.
Conditional Employment Requirements: Offers for this position will be contingent upon the results a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, verification of an acceptable driving record, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must undergo and pass a Central Registry Clearance check. Must pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen.

Salary/Hours: Starting salary $25.47 -$28.91 per hour with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a hourly rate of $33.42 per hour. 30 hours per week. CMHA-CEI offers a very rich benefits package for part-time employees.
