Summary

Navitas is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support our Federal Program .The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing modern, cloud-based applications using Java and Spring Boot on the backend and Angular or React on the frontend. This role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and deploying scalable applications across AWS and Azure cloud environments. The developer will work within an Agile/DevSecOps environment and collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to support application modernization and mission-critical Federal systems. A minimum Public Trust is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and/or React.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services supporting enterprise applications.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications across AWS and Azure, leveraging appropriate cloud services and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, and other developers within an Agile/DevSecOps environment.
• Support application modernization, integration, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD activities, technical documentation, and implementation of secure development best practices.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required with Minimum Public Trust clearance or Higher.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and full-stack application development, with experience using Angular or React.
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying applications in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience working with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and modern software development practices.
• Nice to have prior experience supporting DHS or other federal government programs.

The pay range provided is a good-faith estimate and represents the range the company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Individual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and business needs.
