Job Description

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a Families Forward Manager, serves as a relief secretary for various secretarial positions within the program. Performs a wide variety of secretarial/support tasks, which require proficiency in the use of a computer, in particular Excel. Supports front desk secretary which could include greeting consumers, screening and routing telephone calls, assisting walk-in consumers and other visitors by ascertaining needs or referring to appropriate staff and perform reimbursement processes. Assists other secretaries, which could include gathering data, processing reimbursement, filling records, scanning and other secretarial duties. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI mission, policies and procedures. Requirements: Possession ofa High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency required. A minimum of two years secretarial experience or equivalent required. Must be able to pass a Microsoft Word and Excel exam with a proficient score. Proficient in Microsoft Word is required. Knowledge and experience of Excel is preferred required. The ability to gain proficiency in Smartcare, the agency software that tracks statistical data, services rendered and bill for services is required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.

Salary/Hours: $18.94 per hour 0 – 19 hours a week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
