Job Description

Expression of Interest: PFT ACP Position at Smoky Lake Station

We are currently accepting expressions of interest for a Permanent Full-Time Advanced Care Paramedic (PFT ACP) to work at our Smoky Lake Station.

Qualifications

The successful candidate(s) will possess:

  • A valid ACP practice permit that meets the EMS practice requirements in Alberta.
  • A current and valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.
  • Completion of all mandatory and required training (including MCP and PDIC). For details on required training, please follow this link: Mandatory and Required Training - Internal Applicant.

This position may qualify for a retention incentive which is structured as follows:

  • 1 Year: $5,000.00
  • 2 Years: $12,000.00
  • 3 Years: $17,000.00

The successful applicant(s) will work a schedule of four (4) days on, followed by four (4) days off. Please disclose in your Expression of Interest any existing commitments that may affect your ability to meet the full-time position requirements.
