
Responsibilities: Under the administrative supervision of The Recovery Center Coordinator and clinical supervision of a Program Physician, the candidate will be primarily responsible for the Nursing Health Assessments; tuberculosis tests; medication oversight; routine progress notes; screening assessments for TRC/Detox and other duties in care of individuals at a 10 bed medically monitored detoxification program. Candidate must be licensed to pass medication and take physicians orders. Will be required to attend staff meetings on a monthly basis.
Requirements: Possession of a certificate from an accredited practical nursing education program (one year college-level program). Possession of a State of Michigan license as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required. Candidate must be able to function independently while maintaining a strong Team Approach. Candidate must be detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. Candidate must demonstrate competent computer skills in database programs, word processing and report development. Access to reliable transportation for job related use is required.

Salary/Hours: Salary commensurate with education and experience. 0-19 hours per week. Relief position – filling in for regular staff. Shifts include days, weekends, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
