Job Description

Position: Business Analyst (ETF Operations Analyst)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00am- 5:00pm EST
Contract Assignment: 10/1/2026- 03/31/2027 (Potential Ext to 4/27/2026 or Temp to Perm)

Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote after training fully onsite

Pay Rate: $38.48 Paid weekly.

About:

The ETF Operations team represents Securities as an Authorized Participant (AP) and is responsible for supporting the creation and redemption of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) for clients and the Portfolio Trading Desk. The Settlement team manages the end-to-end settlement process for ETF transactions and their underlying equity and fixed income components, ensuring timely settlement, minimizing operational risk, and supporting regulatory compliance.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and risk management.

Key Details:

• Oversee the settlement lifecycle of ETF creations, redemptions, and underlying basket components.
• Manage collateral requirements with ETF sponsors to ensure timely settlement and mitigate risk.
• Investigate and resolve settlement breaks, reconciliation discrepancies, and operational exceptions.
• Escalate time-sensitive issues, including unresolved breaks, regulatory deadlines, and potential client or firm exposure.
• Perform daily reconciliations, controls, and fail management activities, including inventory allocations and buy-in coordination.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation supporting processing, escalations, notifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, trading desks, ETF sponsors, contra brokers, and internal business partners to resolve issues and drive successful outcomes.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, recurring issues, and operational risks, and contribute to solutions that enhance efficiency and control.
• Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis, and manipulation of large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and pattern recognition abilities with the capability to identify trends, exceptions, and operational risks.
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex processes, products, and systems quickly.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to ask thoughtful questions, summarize complex issues, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of responsibilities.
• High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and risk awareness when handling client and firm-sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:
• ETF, securities operations, settlements, or capital markets experience.
• Understanding of ETF creation/redemption processes and settlement practices.
• Knowledge of operational risk, controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience leveraging data analysis to identify process inefficiencies and drive operational improvements.
