OF POSITION:
The Sequencing Operator's primary responsibility is to meet all customer service sequencing operator requirements.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage systematic processes within MRP system
Responsible for proper management and consumption of partial containers
Follow all packaging guidelines
Collaborate with shipping clerk and production planner to ensure that all shipping requirements are met in a timely manner
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Comply with all Environmental Requirements and Policies
Report all Environmental incidents to immediate supervisor
Performs other duties as assigned
Keep warehouse organized, clean, and in good condition per 5S initiatives.
Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques and using equipment safely.
Clean up as needed and at the end of the shift.
Training new employees on proper procedures and techniques.
Must be available to be on an on-call basis on weekends.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as part of a team.
Serve on special project teams (Kaizen, 5S etc.).
