TITLE 210-Day Clerk CLASSIFICATION Non-Certified

FLSA Exempt DEPARTMENT Clerical

SALARY 1220 Union Schedule WORK YEAR 210-Day

REPORTS TO Building Principal

Under the general direction of the Departmental Manager/Building Principal, the Clerk will perform clerical duties relevant to district operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Job Functions)

1. Regular daily attendance to perform assigned duties

2. Conduct research

3. Create presentations

4. Prepare written/digital statistical reports, studies and analysis

5. Manage projects

6. Maintain student attendance records (school clerk)

7. Check, verify and maintain health records (school clerk)

8. Plan and schedule meetings and appointments

9. Maintain confidential documents

1 0. Answer telephone

1 1. Arrange conference calls

12. File, scan, and copy documents

13. Prepare routine correspondence for administrative superior

14. Research confidential information

15. Attend workshops, conferences, and departmental meetings

16. Make necessary contacts

17. Perform other duties as assigned

TRAINING. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma, an associate's degree preferred, two years of clerical experience in increasingly responsible office environment.
