🚀 Project Overview
You will join a cross-functional, Scrum-based Agile team driving high-value technology solutions for a leading global entertainment and sports agency. In this dual-function role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the development team, driving product definitions from initial requirements through minimum viable product (MVP) delivery. Simultaneously, you will champion product quality by establishing QA standards, driving test execution, and ensuring all final releases meet strict functional requirements within project time constraints.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Workflows: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their process workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and new application features.
• Requirements & Agile Execution: Elicit and document requirements, capture user stories in Jira, ensure traceability to objectives, and help keep the team aligned with MVP definitions and time constraints.
• Quality Assurance & Test Design: Translate expected application processes into well-written functional test cases, execute manual testing, and document results.
• Test Strategy & Automation: Collaborate with QA Engineers to compile regression and performance test cases, identifying and prioritizing candidates for test automation (using tools like Playwright).
• Defect & Risk Management: Log, track, and manage defects and errors. Partner with Product Owners to identify project risks, define mitigation strategies, and track issue resolution progress.
• UAT & Beta Testing: Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate requirements, collaborate during beta testing to reproduce and resolve issues with developers, and monitor processes to maintain quality standards.
• Change Management & Hypercare: Assist with change management efforts (including training content creation, delivery, and communication) and interact with users to troubleshoot errors and guide product adoption.

💡 Must-Have Skills

• Experience Level: 8+ years functioning in business analysis and quality assurance roles within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) framework.
• Technical & QA Acumen: Broad background with software development processes, quality assurance methodologies, and familiarity with testing tools such as Playwright.
• Analytical & Financial Foundation: Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting and financial concepts.
• Project Management Execution: Successful track record of managing user requirements strictly to project time constraints and quantifying the potential business value of proposed enhancements.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities necessary to align stakeholders and engineering teams.

✨ Nice-to-Have Skills

• Industry Experience: Prior experience working with professional services businesses, ideally within the sports, media, and entertainment sectors.

🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration
The role requires collaboration with teams aligned to Central Time (CT) and Eastern Time (EST). Flexibility to overlap with North America business hours is required in this remote-first setup.
